This development is part of BMW's long-term product strategy, overseen by senior executives involved in product planning and production. The iX3 embodies BMW's commitment to leading the electric transition.
The iX3 boasts a 0.24 Cd aerodynamics, representing efficiency in kilometers traveled. paired with a WLTP range of 805 km, the highest in its category, the iX3 promises a driving experience that is both enjoyable and sustainable.
To offset its CO2 footprint, the iX3 requires just 17,500 kilometers of renewable energy. This commitment to sustainability is further demonstrated by the use of 30% recycled materials in the iX3, including recycled marine plastics and 100% PET.
The iX3's design reflects a formal purism and balanced dimensions, closer to sedans than traditional SUVs. Inside, the cabin showcases BMW's vision for the future, featuring a floating, backlit dashboard and BMW Panoramic iDrive system.
The iX3's infotainment system offers access to streaming services, video conferencing, and gaming, reaching living room levels of entertainment. A three-dimensional head-up display and an advanced voice assistant that understands natural speech add to the iX3's high-tech appeal.
The iX3's lifecycle carbon footprint has been reduced by 34%, and it features complete bidirectional charging: V2L, V2H, and V2G. This means the iX3 can not only be charged but also act as a power source for other devices, further emphasising its sustainable credentials.
The Panoramic Vision system projects data and indications across the windshield, transforming the way one perceives the road. The iX3 can recover 372 km in just 10 minutes with 400 kW of DC charging power, making long-distance travel more convenient than ever.
