Tragic accident in Hanover - Elderly Man (78) Sprints Ahead of Mercedes, Ends Up Dead
In the Groß-Buchholz neighborhood, an elderly lady of 78 reportedly stepped into the road at 1:40 p.m. near Haberhof, seemingly disregarding the traffic flow. An 84-year-old Mercedes C-Class driver couldn't avert the accident.
Medics tried to revive the woman at the crash site. However, she passed away from her severe wounds in the hospital a short while later. Due to the incident, the Osterfelddamm road was closed until 4:30 p.m.
The police are searching for witnesses to this accident. Their number is (0511) 109 - 18 88.
