Elderly individual meets fatal end in motorcycle collision
Senior Citizen Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Cebu City
A tragic incident occurred on Katipunan, Barangay Labangon, City of Cebu, at 8:30 PM on Thursday, September 4, 2025. A senior citizen named Dominador Lota Tse, aged 62, from Barangay Quiot, City of Cebu, lost his life in a motorcycle accident.
According to the Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) of the Cebu City Police Office, the accident involved a Suzuki Smash with plate number 942GNU, which Tse was driving. The other motorcycle involved was being driven by Benjie Entremos Jaron, aged 33, from Maguikay, City of Mandaue.
Investigations reveal that Jaron counterflowed the lane, leading to a collision with Tse's motorcycle. As a result, Tse was pulled out of the car after the impact. Unfortunately, he was declared dead on arrival at the Cebu City Medical Center.
Jaron was taken into custody by the Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) and is facing charges of Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Homicide with Physical Injury and Damage to Property. However, no publicly available information about Jaron or his residence could be found.
At the time of the accident, strong winds were present on Katipunan. No further details about the accident were provided. The Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) is continuing its investigation into the incident.
