Eichstätt's Intercultural Breakfast Unites Women from Ten Countries
An intercultural women's breakfast in Eichstätt brought together nearly 40 participants from ten countries. The event The Maltese, working with the Welt-Bruecke association, hosted the breakfast. Gülsüm Giritli, coordinator of integration services for the Maltese in the Eichstätt diocese, called the event 'very colourful and diverse'. Attendees shared experiences and engaged in discussions, creating an enriching exchange.
During the morning, the Welt-Bruecke association gave a presentation on 'Fair Products'. The session highlighted ethical consumption and global trade. Next year's breakfast is already expected to grow, with 12 countries set to be represented in 2025.
The breakfast strengthened connections among women from different backgrounds. More participants attended than in past years, showing increasing interest. The event reinforced Eichstätt's commitment to cultural exchange and community building.
