E-bikes are being transported to the Pforzheim Wildpark
A new e-bike charging station has been installed at the main entrance of Wildpark Pforzheim, thanks to the cooperation between Verein Pforzheim mitgestalten, Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw, and the Robert Bosch Stiftung.
The charging station, located next to the souvenir shop, was initially postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the realization of the charging station was made possible through the initiative of Verein Pforzheim mitgestalten e.V. and a donation from Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw.
The charging process for e-bikes at the new station involves connecting and placing the batteries in available lockers. The station can charge up to three e-bike batteries. No new information about the capacity or specific charging process of the new e-bike charging station was provided.
The installation of the charging station and bike racks was carried out by a column of the Technical Services of the City of Pforzheim.
Mayor of Pforzheim, Peter Boch, expressed his gratitude towards Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw and Pforzheim mitgestalten for the new charging station. He believes that the new charging station will make the Wildpark more attractive for cyclists and contribute positively to the attractiveness of the city of Pforzheim.
The idea for the new e-bike charging station at Wildpark Pforzheim's main entrance was conceived during the Smart City Days in 2019. The electric vehicle charging station has been present at the Wildpark Pforzheim for several years.
The installation of the new e-bike charging station is expected to bring additional visitors to the city, contributing to its growth and development.
This information is archived from a previous post, and some contact information or event dates may no longer be current. Nonetheless, the new e-bike charging station provides an additional charging option for electric vehicles and e-bikes at the Wildpark Pforzheim, making it more accessible and eco-friendly for visitors.
Peter Wagner, chairman of Pforzheim Mitgestalten e.V., shares the same sentiment, stating that the new charging station will encourage more people to use e-bikes and contribute to a greener and healthier city.
