Dubai Airport Surprises Saudi Travellers with LEGO Celebration for National Day
Dubai International Airport welcomed Saudi travellers with a special surprise on September 22, 2025. LEGOLAND Dubai Resort teamed up with Dubai Customs to mark Saudi National Day with a creative celebration. Arriving passengers at Terminals 1 and 3 were greeted by a vibrant LEGO cultural display, sparking joy and excitement. The event was part of a partnership celebrating unity and community spirit. Tim Harrison-Jones, General Manager of LEGOLAND Dubai Resort, shared his enthusiasm for the initiative. He explained that the resort wanted to bring happiness, pride, and creativity to travellers from Saudi Arabia.
Children received goodie bags packed with treats. Each bag included an exclusive LEGO set, a free ticket to LEGOLAND, vouchers for LEGO stores in Saudi Arabia, and a personalised souvenir brick. The activation also highlighted themes like 'Pride in Our Nature' and the UAE's 'Year of Community', leaving families with smiles and heartfelt moments.
At the end of the event, Dubai Customs presented LEGOLAND Dubai Resort with a token of appreciation. The collaboration aimed to strengthen ties between the two nations while offering a memorable experience for visitors. The celebration at Dubai International Airport brought together creativity and cultural pride. Travellers from Saudi Arabia enjoyed unique gifts and a warm welcome.
