The 7th annual DRIFT GAMES festival took place at the UGMK museum complex in Upper Pyshma, attracting thousands of spectators and participants from across the region. This event, a celebration of automotive and urban culture, offered an array of interactive experiences for attendees.

At the heart of the festival were the high-octane drifting races, with around 50 drivers from various regions participating. The event showcased pair drift races involving 32 top regional pilots, and the thick tire smoke that filled the air was a testament to the intense competition.

The Ural Motorsport team took centre stage with demonstration runs on their iconic Ural trucks, showcasing the versatility and power of these vehicles. The Urals Cup for remote-controlled drift, a popular addition to the festival, also drew much attention.

In addition to the races, the festival provided opportunities for learning and experiencing various aspects of automotive culture. A drift skills simulator by the Tsunami Racing team allowed festival-goers to test their drifting skills, while a motorcycle show by Motocademy champions showcased the art of motorcycle drifting.

The commentary for the drifting races was led by the commentator duo Aaron and Joshua from JD Racing, with Artyom Tsaregradtsev, the world drift vice-champion, providing expert commentary.

The DRIFT GAMES festival also served as a platform for unique car exhibitions, with vehicles from various Russian cities on display. Spectators attempted to get close to the racing area, eager to catch a glimpse of the action.

For those who wanted a taste of the racing experience, a drift taxi was available. The festival continued to offer diverse experiences beyond just the races, making it a must-visit event for automotive enthusiasts.
