Dresden Park Railway Operates on Tuesdays as Well

The Dresden Park Railway has introduced a new Hop-on-Hop-off ticket this summer, allowing passengers to temporarily interrupt their round trip and continue later. This ticket is designed for exploring the history of the Dresden Park Railway and the redesigned stations in a playful way.

The Hop-on-Hop-off ticket is available for an additional 3 € on top of the round-trip ticket for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from July 1 to August 31, 2025. Passengers can purchase the ticket at all stations.

The ticket allows up to three stations to be visited for a full price of 5 €, and for a reduced price of 3 €. With this ticket, passengers can take breaks during their journey to enjoy activities like eating ice cream or taking a boat ride on the Carolasee.

The Dresden Park Railway operates from Tuesday to Sunday. On Tuesdays, from July 1 to August 31, 2025, the railway will operate from 13:00 to 18:00. From Wednesday to Friday, the railway will operate from 13:00 to 18:00. On weekends, the five stations of the Dresden Park Railway are served from 10:00 to 18:00.

However, it's important to note that the Hop-on-Hop-off ticket is currently only available from Tuesday to Thursday. The ticket is not mentioned to be available on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. The railway will not operate on October 26, 2025, and will operate from Wednesday to Friday, 13:00 to 18:00, and on weekends, from 10:00 to 18:00, until October 31, 2025.
