Poker Star Doug Polk Goes Rogue in Tesla Vandalism Stunt

Doug Polk, the renowned poker pro, created quite a stir recently with his unconventional promotion for the ClubWPT Gold tournament. In a video posted on X, Polk was seen mock-vandalizing a Tesla, scribbling the letters "Fu" in black spray paint on its body.

When confronted about his strange behaviour, Polk humorously explained that it was all part of a ClubWPT Gold promotion. He then attempted to clarify his message by painting "Fun Promo" on the car, playfully referring to it as the "plus-EV giveaway."

Polk's antics raised some eyebrows, leading some to question if there was any underlying tension between him and Tesla's Elon Musk. Back in January, Polk publicly criticized Musk over his supposed lies about his gaming skills in titles like Diablo IV.

On X, Polk expressed his disappointment over Musk's alleged deception. He stated that gamers take rank and level as a matter of pride, and that Musk's wealth didn't justify such unnecessary dishonesty. He even went so far as to query if Musk might be willing to lie about other things as well.

Musk's response to Polk's Tesla vandalism remains unclear. In the meantime, Polk's spoof promo video is making waves, having gathered over 40,000 views on Las Vegas Locally.

Interestingly, this stunt comes amidst a surge of attacks on Tesla facilities, with over a dozen incidents reported across the US in 2025. Whether these incidents are linked to Polk's promotion is unknown, but they certainly add an extra layer of intrigue to the story.

As for Musk's gaming skills, beyond the allegations about Diablo IV, his abilities have been questioned, including by his estranged daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, who disputed his past claims about his gaming skills in a Twitch appearance[1]. Despite these accusations, there's no solid evidence suggesting that Musk has lied about his gaming skills in other games beyond Diablo IV and possibly Path of Exile 2, a game he also claimed to play[2].
