On Monday evening, a hit-and-run incident occurred on the A81 near Ahorn, Germany. According to news aktuell, several vehicles were damaged as a result of the incident.
The incident involved a MAN tractor unit that lost its load on the road in a construction zone. The vehicles that sustained damage include a Mercedes-Benz A-Class, a BMW 5 Series, a Skoda Kodiaq, and a Mercedes-Benz GLC. The scattered cones made it impossible for following traffic to react in time, causing further damage.
The total damage from the incident is estimated to be over 50,000 euros. The owner of the truck that crashed on the A81 near Osterburken has not been publicly disclosed.
