The world's largest pumpkin exhibition, Ludwigsburg's Blühenden Barock, is currently open and delighting visitors with its awe-inspiring display of intricately carved pumpkin sculptures. The exhibition, which runs until November 2, features over 450,000 pumpkins and showcases life-size sculptures of legendary film figures such as Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, Harry Potter, and Star Wars characters.

The Kürbisatelier (Pumpkin Studio) team, renowned for creating the legendary film characters, has outdone themselves this year. Visitors can marvel at the detailed replicas of Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Harry, Hermione, and Ron, all crafted meticulously from pumpkins. Iconic elements from the films, such as the Millennium Falcon, lightsabers, the Hogwarts Express, and the Sorting Hat, are also on display.

A highlight of the exhibition is the life-size pumpkin sculpture of Charlie Chaplin, showcasing the iconic Tramp character in a humorous and detailed manner. Another noteworthy sculpture is Marilyn Monroe's pumpkin creation, a recreation of her famous pose from the film "The Seven Year Itch".

The exhibition isn't just about admiring the sculptures; visitors can also participate in various activities. Pumpkin painting, pumpkin-themed food and drinks, and a pumpkin carving competition are just a few of the attractions on offer. The competition includes categories like "Best Traditional Carving" and "Most Creative Carving", providing an opportunity for artists from around the world to showcase their skills.

The pumpkin carving competition and the exhibition are open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in this magical world of film icons at Ludwigsburg's Blühenden Barock until November 2. Don't miss out on this unique experience!

The exhibition opens on August 23, so mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable journey through the world of cinema and pumpkins.
