Disney World’s 2025 Holiday Season Sparkles with Magical Tree-Lighting Ceremony
The 2025 holiday season kicked off at Walt Disney World Resort with a festive ceremony at Disney Springs. On November 14, a family from the crowd was invited to light the towering Christmas tree, signalling the start of celebrations across the park. Guests enjoyed live entertainment, seasonal treats, and themed attractions as the resort transformed for the winter season.
The evening began with the lighting of the Disney Springs Christmas tree, a tradition that officially launched the resort’s holiday festivities. DJ Sleigh kept the energy high by spinning holiday hits, including seven new tracks from the Jonas Brothers’ latest film, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie. Around the area, performers like the Toy Soldier Stilt Walkers and Drummers, Holiday Skaters, and the Douglas Fir band entertained visitors with live shows.
The 2025 holiday season at Disney Springs brought together music, food, and festive decorations for guests of all ages. From themed treats to live performances and art displays, the resort’s offerings ran through early January. The tree-lighting ceremony marked the beginning of weeks filled with seasonal entertainment and activities.
