Digital Healthcare Provider PocDoc Joins Forces with Starlink to Offer Screening Services Across Rural and Urban Areas of the United Kingdom
In a groundbreaking move, digital diagnostics solution PocDoc has partnered with Starlink to deliver essential heart health checks in areas without mobile signal, reaching millions across the UK, including the most isolated parts of the country.
This partnership is a significant step towards PocDoc's goal of helping half a million individuals manage their heart health by the end of 2025. The Healthy Heart Check, PocDoc's innovative digital health service, delivers a comprehensive cholesterol and diabetes profile, BMI, heart age, and a ten-year risk score for heart attack or stroke.
The Healthy Heart Check, operational at Middlesbrough Mela, a music festival with almost no mobile signal, thanks to Starlink, demonstrates the potential of this partnership. Each digital health check saved by PocDoc's Healthy Heart Check could potentially save around 136,000 lives annually.
The partnership with Starlink is one of many collaborations launched in 2025, moving PocDoc closer to its vision of reaching every community in every corner of the country. The partnership supports the Government's 10-year NHS plan to expand community-based testing. PocDoc has partnered with numerous NHS bodies and retailers, including Well Pharmacy, Boots, and Superdrug, to boost access to life-saving heart health checks.
