Departing from Home at Inspiration Point (IP)
The university community is buzzing with excitement as we approach the end of the welcome week. Tonight, DucBa restaurant is offering an alfresco takeaway for everyone at the university, providing a delightful culinary experience with a fusion of Asian and Highland cuisines.
In the coming days, a ceilidh is also on the horizon. The organiser for the event, scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025, at Harvest Glasgow, is the Rooted Conference team. Approximately twenty Campus Compadres are expected to attend, including students like Dhriti from Balmahata and Selene from Alexandria, Egypt.
Interestingly, another student, Benito Lomondo from Verona, Italy, has offered to sing at one of the shepherd huts, although it's currently unclear if any are available.
The attendees will be arriving on their own, with no transportation needed, and approximately two hours from now. After the takeaway, a leisurely stroll up to Authors Settee is planned.
It's also worth noting that we have a doctor on site, Brodie, who completed his studies at the university.
The message concludes with an expression of love, adding a warm and welcoming touch to the University's vibrant atmosphere. With no strangers, only new friends to meet, it's shaping up to be an unforgettable week.
