Democrats reveal Trump's purported birthday greeting to Epstein

In a recent development, a lewd note allegedly from former President Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein, wishing him a happy birthday in 2003 and alluding to a "wonderful secret," has been released by Democratic lawmakers. This note, which ends with the phrase, "and may every day be another wonderful secret," followed by Trump's signature, has taken centre stage in the ongoing investigation into the Epstein case.

The note was situated on the sketched outline of a nude woman and was part of a book compiled by Epstein's associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, for Epstein's fiftieth birthday. It is one of the pieces of evidence being probed by the US House Oversight Committee, which is investigating the handling of a criminal investigation into Epstein.

The note's release has reignited interest in the Epstein case among Trump's supporters, who have been obsessed with the case for years. However, Trump denies any wrongdoing and has sued the Wall Street Journal for $10 billion after it originally reported the existence of the letter, insisting that he had never sent it.

Epstein, a wealthy financier, was found dead in his New York jail cell in 2019, awaiting trial for alleged sex trafficking of underage girls. The FBI and Justice Department stated in July that Epstein committed suicide. Prior to this, they also stated that Epstein did not blackmail any prominent figures and did not keep a "client list."

Trump's supporters believe that "deep state" elites are protecting Epstein associates in the Democratic Party and Hollywood. However, the FBI and Justice Department have consistently maintained that they are committed to ensuring justice in the Epstein case.

The investigation into the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein matter by the U.S. Department of Justice was coordinated by an internal special investigator, former Deputy Attorney General Margaretha Sudhof. The details of this investigation are yet to be fully disclosed.

The Democrats published the letter on social media after it was delivered by Epstein's estate. The release of this note comes at a time when the Epstein case continues to generate headlines, with the ongoing trial of Ghislaine Maxwell and the ongoing investigation into the handling of the Epstein case by the U.S. Department of Justice. As the investigation unfolds, more details about the Epstein case are expected to come to light.
