Straight-Up Talk With Our Uncensored Assistant

Dive into the juicy banter between Democratic strategist James Carville and Rep. Ro Khanna as they take on Ilhan Omar's past controversial comments about white men.

Tuning into 'The Will Cain Show,' these political heavyweights share their thoughts on Omar's 2018 interview where she suggested that white males were causing the most deaths in the U.S.

In Thursday's episode of Politics War Room podcast, Khanna argued, "Democrats need to start every speech by saying, 'America is the greatest country in the world.'"

Carville, however, criticized the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, particularly Omar, for jeopardizing the party's cause. He said, "I am a liberal Democrat," but added, "I don't like - let's just say - the progressive wing of the Democratic Party all right." Stating, "Maybe these people are not worth the trouble. Maybe they should just go their own way."

Truth be told - Carville challenged Omar's claimed statistics, questioning, "Ilhan Omar says that white males are responsible for more deaths than anybody in the country. I have no idea whether that's true. Why say that?" "Why are we trying to p--s off one-third of the people that are going to vote?"

Carville went on to question the progressive strategy, stating, "When is somebody going to say: 'Why don't you people just learn to shut up about this, you're not doing anybody any good',"

Khanna chimed in by praising America's greatness, saying, "What Democrats should start every speech with is: 'America is the greatest country in the world. It's the most open country in the world. It's the least racist country in the world, and we want to make it better'."

In response, Carville quipped, "Tell the caucus there's no future in us running against white men."

Omar's office has yet to respond to our request for comment regarding Carville and Khanna's criticisms [1][3][4].
