Two suspects are being sought by the Rhein-Erft District Police after an incident in Hürth on Sunday afternoon, June 15th, where they are suspected of demanding valuables from two victims under threat of violence.
The incident occurred near Theresienhöhe, close to Spijkenisser Straße, at approximately 16:40. The first suspect is described as heavyset, with a beard, and was wearing a black jogging suit, black jacket, and black baseball cap. The second suspect is slim, with a dark goatee, and was wearing a jogging suit and a white t-shirt. Both suspects are approximately 18 to 20 years old and are around 170 cm tall.
According to initial investigations, the heavyset suspect struck the 13-year-old victim, causing him to hand over his wallet. The second suspect was reportedly involved in the incident, with both suspects demanding valuables from the victims under threat of violence.
A Fiat van with a refrigeration unit was parked in the parking lot next to the parking garage of the shopping center. Upon the arrival of the responding police officers, the two suspects fled the scene.
