Deer Rutting Season Observed at Minsmere during Autumn

Discover the wonders of autumn wildlife and the thrilling Red Deer Rut at RSPB Minsmere! This captivating event, organised by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), invites nature lovers of all ages to immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural world.

The event takes place at the picturesque RSPB Minsmere, a haven for wildlife and a perfect setting for this unique experience. Whether you're a seasoned nature enthusiast or a curious beginner, you'll find something to delight you at this event.

One of the highlights of the day will be the Red Deer Rut, a spectacular display of male deer competing for the attention of the females. Witness this awe-inspiring spectacle up close and learn more about the deer's behaviour and the importance of the rut in their survival.

The event is suitable for all ages, with under 25's able to attend for free. No booking is required, so feel free to drop by and join in the fun. For those who wish to make a small contribution, donations for refreshments are welcome.

The venue offers excellent facilities, including wheelchair access and a hearing loop for the hearing impaired. Dogs are also welcome, so feel free to bring along your four-legged companions.

In addition to the Red Deer Rut, the event includes a raffle and refreshments, offering plenty of opportunities to socialise and engage with like-minded individuals.
