News Article: COVID-19 Recovery Certificates and Latest Updates in Rhein-Kreis Neuss
In a significant development, the district health department of Rhein-Kreis Neuss has announced that it will be providing a "proof of recovery from a COVID-19 infection" to eligible individuals, free of charge, within the next week. This move comes in line with the Federal Council's recent approval of a regulation that treats fully vaccinated individuals and those who have recovered from COVID-19 the same as those who have tested negative.
The current 7-day incidence rate in Rhein-Kreis Neiss, according to the Robert Koch Institute, stands at 124.6, a slight decrease from the previous rate of 131.1 (as of April 14). It's important to note that these numbers reflect the ongoing efforts to control the spread of the virus in the district.
The district health department has also set up a hotline (02181/601-7777) for any questions related to the COVID-19 situation in Rhein-Kreis Neuss. The hotline is available from Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, and on weekends, 10 am to 6 pm.
Unfortunately, the district has reported two more COVID-19 related fatalities. A 74-year-old and a 30-year-old have passed away, bringing the total number of deaths to 323. Our thoughts are with their families and loved ones during this difficult time.
