Decision on the application of Article 93 (2) of the Treaty is yet to be endorsed by the Commission.
On August 28, 2025, a significant traffic accident occurred on federal highway 76 near Dodauer Forest.
According to the Police Directorate Lübeck, the incident involved a head-on collision between a Ford vehicle travelling towards Eutin and a tractor. The accident occurred around 17:30.
Currently, the federal highway 76 is closed in both directions as police measures are ongoing at the accident site. Motorists are advised to use detours via Quisdorf, Brackrade, and Pfingstberg.
