Firefighters were called to action yesterday afternoon at the main fire and rescue station, following an incident that resulted in visible damage to the overhang and the subsequent towing of a parked car.

According to reports, debris from the incident had hit the parked car, causing some boards to come loose on an overhang. The fire department promptly dispatched a ladder truck to the scene, which was cordoned off in the affected area.

Upon arrival, firefighters removed more debris from the overhangs and temporarily secured the roof area to prevent any further damage. The local authority was unable to reach the car's owner, and the vehicle was towed away to ensure safety.

Fortunately, the owner will not incur any costs due to the incident being within the scope of hazard prevention. A roofer has been scheduled to address the damage on Friday, August 29.

However, no information was given about the condition of the parked car, and no photographs were provided of the towed vehicle. Additionally, the available search results do not specify the name or identity of a Roman person who was assigned on Friday to repair the roof.

The incident occurred around 5:30 PM, and the sidewalk remained cordoned off as a precaution. The fire department is currently investigating the cause of the incident to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
