Hospital under security forces' supervision - Dealing with violent behavior from clans in hospitals.

A troubling situation in Berlin-Neukölln's district has left the entire nation stunned, as relatives of a severely injured individual have been harassing emergency responders and hospital staff to the point where the Vivantes clinic needed to be put under police protection.

The aftermath: Last New Year's Eve, a patient at a Berlin clinic assaulted physicians in the emergency room. A 25-year-old Serb and his two brothers assaulted a nurse (32) until she was unconscious, punched a clinic doctor (42), and there were arrests made.

So far, no results have been achieved in this case.

According to the law, those who obstruct emergency services like police, firefighters, rescue teams, or medical responders through violence or threats of violence will face punishment. Similarly, those who physically harm these helpers will also face consequences.

The health insurance statute also allows for the possibility of denying benefits for self-inflicted illnesses, as per the Ministry. For example, if members of a clan had injured each other through violence, the health insurance provider could pass on the costs incurred to the involved individuals.

However, the question remains: does this address all aspects of the issue?

He stated, "It takes robust police units, diligent prosecutors, and determined courts to swiftly arrest these criminals, who should learn that they are in a nation governed by laws, not revenge or honor. Those who cannot comprehend this, ought to relocate from Germany. Politicians must no longer just talk about consistency and a powerful state; instead, they ought to perform the tasks they were elected for."
