A fatal car crash occurred near Reutlingen due to a hazardous passing attempt by a 23-year-old driver. On Tuesday evening, he was trying to overtake a 61-year-old's car on a country road. In an unfortunate turn of events, his car collided with another incoming vehicle driven by a 59-year-old. As a result, the 23-year-old was ejected from his car and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Trapped in his vehicle, the 59-year-old experienced serious injuries and needed to be rescued by the fire department. Eventually, he was flown to the hospital via a rescue helicopter. The 61-year-old, who sustained only slight injuries, was also taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities issued a notification on this tragic incident.
