Chisora in the Rearview, Dubois Sets His Sights Higher
British heavyweight Daniel Dubois, the current IBF world champion, has made it clear: a fight with Dereck Chisora no longer interests him. While Chisora is the official mandatory challenger for the title, Dubois sees no competitive value in the matchup.
Usyk vs. Dubois: A Rematch at Wembley?
Following Dubois’ statement, Oleksandr Usyk’s promoter Alexander Krassyuk confirmed that talks are underway for a second fight between Usyk and Dubois. One of the main venues being considered is the legendary Wembley Stadium in London.
“We’re working on organizing the rematch. Wembley is one of the real options,” Krassyuk said.
The first bout between Usyk and Dubois took place in Poland and ended with a win for the Ukrainian. However, the fight was surrounded by controversy — particularly due to a low blow call that many considered questionable. This only adds more intrigue to a potential rematch, which, if finalized, would be a showdown for the undisputed heavyweight championship.
