Daily, direct flights from CVG to Montreal commence under the auspices of Air Canada.

Air Canada has expanded its services, launching a new daily nonstop flight between Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and Montreal, Quebec, Canada (YUL) on Friday. This new route aims to support tourism and business trade opportunities between the two cities.

The inaugural flight offered cake, bag tags, and other giveaways to travelers, signifying the start of a promising new connection. The flight is serviced by a CRJ 900 aircraft, which offers a business class option, catering to both leisure and business travelers.

Canada holds significant importance as a trade partner for the states of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. As of 2024, Canada is the top export destination for these states, with Ohio exporting goods worth $19.9 billion, Kentucky $9.3 billion, and Indiana $13.9 billion.

Larry Krauter, chief executive officer of CVG, expressed his excitement about the new service, stating that it connects Cincinnati and Montreal in a way that strengthens commercial trade partnerships between the Tri-State area and Canada.

In addition to the new daily service, Air Canada also operates twice daily service between Toronto (YYZ) and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). The flight schedule includes a departure from CVG at 1:30 p.m. and an arrival in Montreal at 3:23 p.m., with the flight from Montreal departing at 6:10 p.m. and arriving at CVG at 8:27 p.m.
