In the early hours of July 10th, a cyclist was lightly injured in a traffic accident in the town of Frechen. The incident occurred around 7:20 AM at the merging area of Breite Straße and Funkenstraße.

According to reports, the cyclist was cycling on Funkenstraße towards Breite Straße when a Fiat, traveling towards the Frechen city center on Breite Straße, made a left turn into Funkenstraße, colliding with the cyclist. The cyclist was waiting at the stop line to turn left onto Breite Straße at the time of the accident.
