On Saturday afternoon, a collision occurred between a racing bike and a Honda on the L107 near Gutach. According to the Police Headquarters Offenburg, the 27-year-old racing cyclist lost control of the bike in a sharp right-hand bend, subsequently colliding with the left front area of an oncoming vehicle.

The driver of the Honda, a 91-year-old individual, attempted to swerve to the right to avoid the collision but ended up touching the guardrail. The racing cyclist sustained minor injuries in the collision and was taken to a clinic for further examination.

Emergency services were promptly on the scene to attend to both parties. The total material damage from the collision is approximately 12,500 euros.
