Cyclist experiences injury in road collision
In the quiet town of Gummersbach, Oberbergischer Kreis, an unusual incident occurred on Monday, 25th August. According to reports from the Circles Police Department of Oberbergischer Kreis, an Audi driver from Bonn, aged 72, was involved in a collision with a cyclist from Nuremberg.
The collision took place at around 19:10, on the street "Im Kloster". The Audi driver, in an attempt to turn right from Kapellenstraße onto "Im Kloster", reportedly drove past parked cars on the right side of the road before the collision.
The cyclist, a 57-year-old individual, sustained minor injuries in the collision. The severity of the injuries, however, remains undisclosed. The cyclist was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. As of now, the cyclist continues to receive treatment in the hospital.
