Cultural Event in Greifswald on September 12, 2025
The University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald are excited to announce the return of the Greifswald Cultural Night on September 12th. This annual event, now in its 23rd year, promises a diverse and exciting lineup of cultural activities for all.
This year, new additions include the Café "Kaffeemühle" featuring "Klarinakkord", the Studio Gallery Greifswald with a painting exhibition by Ulrike Hochgrebe and music by "Drumming with the Greats", and the Störtebeker Braugasthaus with pianist Tobias Altripp & friends.
The program brochure for the event is now available at the Greifswald Information office and online at www.our website/kulturnacht. The brochure includes details on when, where, and how long each event starts, making it easy for visitors to plan their evening.
Many more concerts, workshops, performances, book markets, stargazing opportunities, and dance events are part of the Cultural Night. Visitors are encouraged to be spontaneous and open to new experiences to create their own evening cultural program.
Approximately 40 participants will host events at well-known and unusual locations. The events will include theater, workshops, concerts, tours, exhibitions, and more. The Cultural Night will showcase the diverse aspects and genres of Greifswald's cultural scene.
The Singing Balconies in Schönwalde II will begin the Cultural Night at 5:00 PM. Many contributions are free and varied, allowing for easy exploration of other offers.
Program changes or updates for the Cultural Night will be announced on the website. An online map on the website shows all event locations for the Cultural Night, making it easy for visitors to navigate.
The coordination and marketing of the 23rd Greifswald Culture Night this year has been taken over by the Office for Education, Culture & Sports of the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald. The Cultural Night is coordinated and promoted by the Department of Education, Culture & Sports of the University and Hanseatic City of Greifswald.
This year's Cultural Night graphic was designed by Finn Wunderwald, a student at the Media and IT School at the North Economic Academy.
Visitors can find participating venues in Greifswald and other locations. We look forward to seeing you there!
