Crypto Expert Raoul Pal Anticipates Major Moves in Digital Currency Market

Raoul Pal, the founder and CEO of the Real Vision media platform, has predicted a massive breakout in the cryptocurrency market capitalization excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum. According to Pal, the breakout may occur in mid-2026, when TOTAL3 reaches its breakout phase at a level of $1.06 trillion.

The pattern that Pal refers to is an ascending triangle, which started taking shape in early 2021. This bullish pattern forms when the price breaches the upper horizontal trendline with rising volume. The pattern has already touched the trendlines six times.

The recent surge in Ethereum (ETH) seems to support this prediction. Overnight, Ethereum's price increased by 11%, and its trading volume more than doubled, reaching an insane level of $73 billion. Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, shared an optimism forecast for altcoins on Aug. 22, 2025, suggesting that the breakthrough of the TOTAL3 indicator could be massive.
