The Cunard superliner, Queen Victoria, is set to close the Summer season visits to Mallorca on September 6, marking the end of a successful season for this iconic vessel.

Built in the Fincantieri Monfalcone Shipyard in Italy and named by Queen Camilla (then Duchess of Cornwall) in 2007, Queen Victoria towers almost 55 meters above the waterline, nearly equal to the height of a 20-storey building. With a length of 964.5 feet, this modern classic features grand public rooms, sweeping staircases, and spacious decks, providing passengers with an unparalleled cruise experience.

Queen Victoria offers four main dining rooms: Britannia Restaurant, Britannia Club restaurant, Princess Grill restaurant, and Queens Grill restaurant. Each dining room offers a unique ambiance, catering to various preferences. The Britannia Restaurant, inspired by the carriages of the Orient Express, and the Britannia Club restaurant, offering an intimate dining club atmosphere, are popular choices among passengers.

The Queens Grill restaurant, known for its finest ingredients and preparation by the very best chefs, and the Princess Grill restaurant, serving excellent cuisine and renowned wines, are the epitome of fine dining on board. For casual al fresco dining, snacks, or drinks, the Lido Grill is the perfect spot.

Passengers can also enjoy other amenities such as a theatre, library, spa, and multiple dining options. The library on board spans two decks, linked by a spiral staircase, and houses around 6,000 books. The Chart Room offers pastries, light refreshments, and barista coffee during the daytime, while the Lido Restaurant offers buffet-style meals and a cooked-to-order pizza bar.

Steakhouse at The Verandah celebrates the best of land and sea with ingredients sourced from both sides of the Atlantic, and The Golden Lion offers hearty fare, like fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding. For those seeking a more tranquil atmosphere, The Chart Room offers a peaceful retreat during the daytime.

Queen Victoria's crew of at least 913 members caters to the needs of 2,061 guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable voyage for all. The ship is equipped with three anchors - two are in use and one is carried as a spare.

This year, Mallorca has received visits from 551 ships carrying 1.8 million passengers between January and December, with 47 more boats and 41,085 passengers visiting compared to last year. Queen Victoria has been a significant contributor to this increase, offering worldwide itineraries and a memorable cruise experience.

As Queen Victoria prepares to bid farewell to Mallorca, passengers can look forward to a grand finale, filled with the ship's unique charm and impeccable service.
