Criminals posing as police officers commit a robbery on an individual aged 37, along Highway 4.

In an unsettling incident that occurred on August 28, a UK-registered campervan was robbed on the Federal Motorway 4 near Klettenberg. The robbery, which took place around 9 PM while the campervan was traveling towards Heerlen, was perpetrated by two individuals impersonating police officers.

The theft was initially unnoticed by the British driver of the campervan. During an attempt to prevent the perpetrators' escape, the driver of the campervan lightly collided with the suspects' vehicle. However, the driver of the perpetrator's vehicle remained in the vehicle during the fake check.

One of the impostors, a 40-year-old man, is approximately 1.75 meters tall, slim, black, and was wearing a dark cap and a vest with "Police" inscription. He took a bag from the campervan and stole a Rolex watch and cash before the perpetrators fled towards the Cologne-West motorway interchange.

The location of the robbery was on the hard shoulder of the Federal Motorway 4. The identity or name of the driver of the black car involved in the incident near Klettenberg on the federal motorway 4 is not publicly disclosed. No further description of the perpetrators or the damaged black car was provided in the current paragraph.

Witnesses are asked to contact the Criminal Commission 74 with information about the perpetrators or the damaged black car. The contact details for the Criminal Commission 74 are 0221 229-0 and [email protected].
