In the early hours of this morning, a gas station on Vennhauser Allee was the scene of a break-in. Two men, aged 32 and 34, were identified as the suspects in the incident.

The intrusion triggered an alarm, alerting the authorities promptly. Police units arrived at the scene and searched the area, eventually locating the suspects on Kamper Weg.

The suspects, who are known to the police, had made off with a substantial haul. They gathered approximately 3,500 packs of cigarettes and baked goods before fleeing. However, during their escape, they discarded two large trash bags containing their loot.

Despite their initial escape, the suspects were apprehended by the police. The older suspect was released due to lack of sufficient grounds for detention, while the younger suspect was presented to a judge and remanded in custody.

The identities of the suspects have not been publicly named, as per standard procedure in such cases involving Polish nationals. The investigation is ongoing, and further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
