Crime: Theft Occurs at Theodor-Heuss Park

In the quiet town of Soest, an unfortunate incident took place last night at around 00:03, as a case of aggravated theft was reported in Theodor-Heuss-Park.

According to the Circular Police Authority Soest, the victim of the crime was a 25-year-old man from Somalia who had an outstanding arrest warrant. The exact nature of the theft is not specified, but an innocent bystander witnessed the incident and promptly called the police.

The victim approached four people in the park and asked for a cigarette. However, instead of complying, the four individuals, matching the witness's description, allegedly started punching and kicking the victim. One of the suspects is said to have struck the victim in the face with a bottle, resulting in a black eye, a bloody lip, and facial swelling for the victim.

The four suspects, a 19-year-old male from Bayreuth, an 18-year-old female from Lippetal, another 18-year-old female from Lippetal, and a 40-year-old male from Soest, were found during the search and provisionally arrested.

During their initial interrogation, all four suspects denied the crime. The Circular Police Authority Soest is currently investigating further.

In a separate incident, the victim from Soest Central Station was taken to the nearest hospital by ambulance after suffering from the attack. However, after completing treatment at the hospital, the victim was arrested due to the outstanding arrest warrant.

Several bags of marijuana and amphetamines were found during the search of the victim at the hospital. The background of the arrest warrant against the victim is currently unavailable.
