Covid-19 surges again.
In the past week, a total of 1,293 tests were conducted in the Corona test centers and by mobile testing teams in Rhein-Kreis Neuss. As of now, there are 123 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in the area, a decrease from the 130 cases reported on September 28, 2020, and lower than the 100 cases recorded on August 19, 2020.
Out of the 123 current cases, 7 individuals are hospitalized, while the number of deaths attributed to the disease remains unchanged at 24. A encouraging sign is that a total of 1,242 people have recovered from the infection across the district.
Currently, 652 individuals in Rhein-Kreis Neuss are in quarantine as suspected cases. The incidence rate of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days is 25.1.

The Gesundheitsamt (Health Department) in Rhein-Kreis Neuss is responsible for conducting COVID-19 tests and issuing quarantine recommendations. It is located at Oberstr. 91, 41460 Neuss, and offers services including testing and counseling.
As of now, a total of 1,389 infections with the coronavirus have been confirmed in Rhein-Kreis Neuss. Among the currently infected individuals, 45 reside in Neuss, 25 in Kaarst, 22 in Grevenbroich, 12 each in Dormagen and Meerbusch, 5 in Korschenbroich, and 2 in Rommerskirchen.
