Country music's rising star, Dasha, is set to bring her unique blend of country and pop to Australian audiences as part of the CMC Rocks 2026 lineup. The highly-anticipated festival, taking place from March 20 to 22 at Willowbank Raceway in Ipswich, Queensland, is expected to draw over 23,000 fans across five days.

Dasha, one of country music's brightest new stars, will join local favourites James Johnston, Casey Barnes, Wade Forster, and Sara Berki on the bill. This year's event also features international acts such as Carly Pearce, Tucker Wetmore, Gavin Adcock, Tyler Braden, and Hudson Westbrook, along with headliners Jordan Davis, Old Dominion, and Riley Green. Old Dominion will be returning to the stage for the first time since 2018.

The pressures of touring have taken a toll on Dasha, but she remains undeterred. She plans to include the Aussie tradition 'shoeys' in her stage performance, a move that is sure to excite local fans. Dasha's first 'shoey' was spontaneous and occurred in Canada.

Dasha's new single, 'Oh, Anna!', was born out of a 'full mental breakdown.' She wrote the song as a letter to her younger self, a testament to her raw and honest approach to music. The song has become a fan favorite and is the cornerstone of her upcoming project.

Dasha's sound crosses into pop but she remains grounded in country music. She insists her breakout hit, Austin, did well because the song was good, not because of a viral line dance.

Life on the road is hard and tiring for Dasha, but she finds ways to stay sane. She keeps life simple, which includes playing pickleball, cooking dinner, talking to family, reading, and smoking marijuana.

Tickets for the CMC Rocks 2026 festival will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, September 4. The festival has become a popular pilgrimage for local and international fans, making it a must-attend event for country music enthusiasts.

Dasha spoke exclusively to Daily Mail backstage at a Nashville show, sharing her excitement about bringing her music to Australia. Despite the challenges of touring, she is looking forward to connecting with her fans Down Under.

The CMC Rocks 2026 festival is shaping up to be an unforgettable event, and with Dasha on the lineup, it promises to be a highlight of the music scene in Queensland.
