Continental unveils bold tire innovations and unified sales strategy at LogiMAT 2026

Continental is rolling out a fresh global design approach for its material handling division. The company is also merging its commercial specialty tire sales in Germany to create a more unified market strategy. These changes will be showcased at LogiMAT 2026, where a three-brand product range will take centre stage.

From March 24 to 26, Continental will present its expanded material handling portfolio at LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart, located in Hall 9, Booth 9F24. The event will highlight the company's new three-brand strategy, tailored to meet varied demands across industry, logistics, and trade sectors.

The updated sales approach aims to better match consulting, product availability, and selection to specific operational needs. This shift is designed to provide tighter customer support within the material handling industry.

Among the products on display will be the Barum Industry solid tire, built for lighter-duty forklift use with fewer than 1,000 operating hours per year. Its maintenance-free design includes reinforced sidewalls and a tread pattern that enhances straight-line stability at low speeds.

For medium-intensity applications, the General Tire 'Lifter' will be featured. Its tread and sidewall compounds absorb shocks while resisting cuts and cracks. A shield-shaped tread pattern ensures balanced traction in small and medium-sized industrial settings.

At the premium end, the SC20+ solid tire targets high-utilization industrial trucks exceeding 2,000 operating hours annually. Its 'Plus Compound' blends high cut and impact resistance with lower rolling resistance, reducing wear and boosting energy efficiency.

Continental's new design language and consolidated sales strategy reflect a push to align more closely with customer needs. The expanded product range, including tires for light, medium, and heavy-duty use, will be available for review at LogiMAT 2026. The event provides an opportunity for businesses to explore solutions tailored to their specific material handling requirements.
