Unauthorized Access and Theft at Jena Construction Site
A construction site in Erfurter StraΓe, Jena, experienced an unwelcome intrusion on Friday night. Unknown perpetrators gained unauthorized access to the site, resulting in damage to a construction workers' on-site container and the theft of valuable equipment.
The incident, which took place at the Jena Police Headquarters, involved the forced entry into a container, where parts of a construction crane and other machinery were stored. The stolen items, including operating parts of the crane and machinery worth approximately 5,000 euros, are still at large.
The damage to the container was estimated at 100 euros. The identity of the perpetrators remains unknown, and the Thuringian Police have requested inquiries to be made at the Jena Police Headquarters. The Weimar Police Station is also involved in the investigation.
