Consuming Information: On-scene observations following a vehicle collision (LPI-EF style)
In the early hours of this morning, a traffic accident occurred in the county of Sömmerda, Germany. The incident took place on Rastenberger Straße in Buttstädt.
According to the Thuringian State Police, a 25-year-old woman was driving a Skoda when she swerved to avoid a potential collision. Unfortunately, in doing so, she hit the guardrail. The driver of a black VW Golf, who was also involved in the accident, crossed onto the wrong side of the road and fled the scene without stopping.
The identity of the driver of the black VW Golf remains unknown at this time. The Thuringian State Police are urging any witnesses to the accident to contact the police inspection in Sömmerda.
