Consultations Have Been Held Regarding the Following Topics by the Commission

In a series of significant transport developments, the city of [City Name] is set to undergo a series of renovations and rerouting of public transport lines. The most notable change is the closure of the Harburg Central Bus Station (ZOB Harburg) from June 3, 2024, for approximately two years.

During this closure, passengers are advised to use the Harburg Rathaus stop in the Harburger Ring as an alternative. Several bus lines, including 152, 349, 543, and X30 (direction Grossmoordamm), will stop near the Harburg train station in the Moorstraße (before the Phoenix Center). Line 142 (bus from Heimfeld) will be directly routed from the "S Harburg Rathaus" stop in both directions to the Binnenhafen and will serve an additional stop in Karnapp during the closure.

The Harburger S-Bahn line will experience disruptions on June 8th, 9th, and from June 10th to 12th. This is due to the full closure of the A7 Elbtunnel from June 7th to 10th for the demolition of the Baurstraße bridge.

The renovation of the 4-lane section around the Marmstorf junction is scheduled for February 2025. During the one-year construction period, one lane will remain open in each direction. The Hannoversche Straße will be converted into a one-way street towards Moorstraße from the main station/Phoenix Center during this closure.

Inbound traffic will be officially rerouted via the Maldfeldstraße and Winsener Straße. Lines 145, 245, 340, 345, 4200, and 4210 will be rerouted from Bremer Straße, bypassing Krummholzberg and Harburger Ring without further stops, to the "S Harburg Rathaus" stop.

The expansion of Veloroute 10 in Bostelbek from June 17, 2024, to Summer 2025 will begin. The new bus stop for bus line 550 in Neuenfelde will be opened on June 3rd.

From January 2026, the B75 will be a one-way street outbound for 1.5 years. The rest of the B75 up to the Hohen Straße will be comprehensively renovated from October 2025 to mid-2027.

Following the completion of these construction works, a new, modern, barrier-free, and high-capacity ZOB will be built at the Harburg station. The new roundabout at Hannoversche Straße/ Neuländer Hauptdeich/ Nartenstraße/ Brücke des 17. Juni is scheduled to be completed by spring 2025.

The exit from the inner harbor towards Neuländer Street will reopen on July 15th. The renovation of the double junction (Hannoversche Straße/ Moorstraße/ Walter-Dudek-Bridge as well as Buxtehuder Straße) will not be combined with the ZOB renovation.

The Neuländer main dyke will be at least partially reopened for vehicle traffic from August 5th, 2024. The details regarding which public transport lines will be diverted or where alternative stops will be set up during the renovation of the Harburg central bus station (ZOB Harburg) from June 2024 to July 2026 are yet to be announced.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to monitor these developments and bring you the latest news on transport changes in our city.
