In the past week, several incidents of vehicle damage have been reported in the towns of Emden and Bunde, with the local police urging witnesses to come forward with any information.
On May 3, 2025, between 3 PM and May 4, 2025, around 3 PM, unknown perpetrators caused damage to a total of 11 vehicles at a car dealership on Teutonenstraße in Emden. The identities of the perpetrators are still unknown, and the extent of the damage to the vehicles is currently unknown.
In a separate incident, between April 14 and April 27, 2025, a hit-and-run incident occurred on Kirchring in Bunde. The BMW driver involved in this incident sustained minor injuries, and the vehicle sustained damage. The hit-and-run driver failed to take any action to resolve the damage.
On May 5, 2025, another hit-and-run incident occurred on the A31 highway near Bunde, heading towards Bottrop. In this incident, the BMW driver performed an emergency brake and veered off the road, colliding with the outer guardrail. The driver's current condition is unknown.
The Renault Clio, parked in a row next to the road at house number 39, was also likely damaged by an unknown driver, possibly in a hit-and-run incident involving the left front fender and headlight.
