Construction ongoing on deserted beach road featuring pipeline installation

In the heart of our city, a series of changes are taking place from September 15 to 18, 2025. Utility construction and asphalt paving work at the Schönaustraße/Florastraße intersection will necessitate a detour for public transport lines 6 and 106, as well as some changes for pedestrians and cyclists.

For those using public transport, lines 6 and 106 towards the old town will be detoured via Florastraße. Temporary stops for the "Sandstraße" bus stop have been set up at Forellenweg 33 and 26 to accommodate these changes.

During this period, the detour for vehicles is via Schönaustraße, Florastraße, Hubertusstraße, and Sandstraße. The detour route is clearly marked to ensure a smooth journey for motorists. Residents can drive up to the immediate closure area, and the closure and detour signs have been set up to guide them.

Pedestrians and cyclists can pass at any time, but it's important to note that Sandstraße is a part of the detour route. While it remains accessible, pedestrians are advised to avoid it for their safety. The public is encouraged to follow the closure and detour signs to ensure a safe and efficient journey.

It's worth mentioning that Sandstraße will still be accessible to residents by vehicle. The temporary stops for the "Sandstraße" bus stop at Forellenweg 33 and 26 have been set up to provide an alternative for public transport users during the construction.

These changes are essential for the improvement and maintenance of our city's infrastructure. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. For the latest updates, please visit our city's official website or follow us on social media.
