The construction of the new Moritz-Lang-Haus, a modern nursing home in Wiesbaden, is making significant strides, as announced by the Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden. This highly anticipated project, located at Schlossplatz 6, is expected to be completed in autumn 2026.

The new Moritz-Lang-Haus will accommodate 104 care places and will continue the successful work of Director Uwe Ortseifen and his team. Known for their dedication to providing time, attention, and human closeness, the team at Moritz-Lang-Haus is set to continue their commendable work in the new building.

The Mayor of Wiesbaden, Gert-Uwe Mende, and Social Affairs Director Dr. Patricia Becher have expressed their gratitude to WiBau and all those involved in the construction. Dr. Becher, who is the Social Affairs Director, emphasized the urgency of the project, stating, "Something had to happen, and it needed to happen as soon as possible."

The new Moritz-Lang-Haus is being described as a unique home in Wiesbaden, created with heart, mind, and modern equipment. Upon completion, it will offer a home that prioritizes security, attention, and care for the elderly, as emphasized by Dr. Becher.

The Mayor of Wiesbaden, Mende, concluded that the city looks ahead with confidence to the further course of construction and the solemn inauguration in 2026. He believes that the new Moritz-Lang-Haus will significantly enhance the care landscape in Wiesbaden.

The shell of the new Moritz-Lang-Haus already gives a glimpse that patience and commitment have paid off. The previous Moritz-Lang-Haus, which has served for decades, no longer meets today's care standards and structural conditions.

Dr. Becher believes that caring for the elderly means more than professional care; it means security, attention, and a home. She expressed a big thank you to the team of the Moritz-Lang-Haus for their hard work and dedication.

Citizens with questions regarding the Moritz-Lang-Haus are encouraged to contact the responsible department or authority for more information. The new Moritz-Lang-Haus, once inaugurated in 2026, is expected to be a beacon of care and compassion in the heart of Wiesbaden.
