Construction obstacles cause town hall schedule to be pushed back due to delays in completion

The New City Hall project, a much-anticipated development for the city, has faced some unexpected hurdles, as a series of structural and technical problems have surfaced following the demolition of the existing building. Despite these setbacks, the city's preparations for the future occupancy of the New City Hall are progressing as planned. The expected handover of the New City Hall has been pushed back from December 1, 2025, to mid-September 2026. However, progress is being made on the construction site. Recently, preparations for the new wall installations in the building have begun.
