The city administration is set to host the second energy meeting of the year on Tuesday, June 24th, at the council chamber of the town hall. This event will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and digital attendance.

The energy meeting, a free service for homeowners, aims to support them in the process of energy renovation and long-term counteraction of rising energy costs. The event will be guided by experienced energy advisor Wolfgang Fanck.

The focus of the energy meeting will be on practical questions about energy renovation and modern heating technologies, particularly for homeowners. Attendees can expect a lively exchange, where they can bring their own questions and experiences.

Modern heating technologies, including alternatives to classic gas or oil heating and district heating systems, will be discussed. A key topic will be the insulation of buildings, with a focus on suitable measures and considerations for buildings of different ages.

The Climate Protection Agency Region Hannover financially and organizationally supports the energy meeting as part of its advisory campaign, with funds from the Region Hannover. The German Energy Agency (dena) also supports the event, with Dr. Michael Schmidt, the energy consultant leading the second energy conference of the city office, taking a leading role.

The energy meeting aims to motivate attendees by showcasing successful examples from the neighbourhood. At the end of the event, attendees will have the opportunity to influence the topic for the next energy meeting.

The energy meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 PM. All interested parties are invited to attend, either in-person without registration or digitally with prior registration via email to klimaundumwelt@our website. The energy meeting covers all phases of implementation, from the first idea to the concrete measure, and helps overcome implementation hurdles.

Whether you're a homeowner looking to reduce your energy costs or simply interested in learning more about modern heating technologies and building insulation, this energy meeting promises to be an informative and engaging event. Don't miss out - join us on June 24th!
