In less than 10 hours, players will be able to immerse themselves in the world of Hollow Knight: Silksong, the highly-anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed indie game.

Team Cherry, the developers behind Silksong, have confirmed that the game will support ultrawide resolutions up to 21:9, a feature that was confirmed by Matthew Griffin, the company's Marketing and Publishing contact. This news was highlighted in their most recent letter to backers.

Griffin also shared that the Silksong soundtrack, composed by Christopher Larkin, is bigger than the original game's soundtrack. The soundtrack, which will be available to backers at launch, boasts a total of 53 tracks, more than the original game's 26 tracks (not counting DLC tracks).

The Silksong trailer suggests that the game will be filled with challenges, featuring over 200 enemies and 40 bosses. Backers of the game can also look forward to delving into the game's lore, as Tyler Colp has gathered some of the best Hollow Knight lore videos.

Shaun Prescott, the Australian editor of PC Gamer, has been closely following the development of Silksong. With over ten years of experience covering the games industry, Prescott's work has appeared on multiple publications, including GamesRadar+, TechRadar, The Guardian, PLAY Magazine, and the Sydney Morning Herald. Prescott has also gathered the Silksong release times for each region.

As the release of Silksong approaches, the anticipation is palpable. The author of this article shares in this excitement, eagerly waiting to explore the new world that Team Cherry has created.

It's important to note that the size of the Silksong soundtrack does not directly correlate with the game's size compared to its predecessor. However, with its expansive world, challenging gameplay, and immersive soundtrack, Hollow Knight: Silksong promises to be an unforgettable experience for players.

Stay tuned for more updates on Hollow Knight: Silksong as it releases in the coming hours.
