The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) has announced a new addition to its leadership team. Mark Quinn, a seasoned finance professional with a rich career in the railroad industry, has been named as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ASI. The appointment, effective from February 14, 2008, marks a significant step for ASI as it seeks to streamline its financial operations and improve business processes.

Mark Quinn, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He started his career at CONRAIL, where he climbed the ranks from an internal auditor to contract manager. His most recent position at CONRAIL was director of asset utilization.

While at CONRAIL, Quinn led a team that redesigned the department, utilising various technologies, which became the benchmark of the railroad industry. This achievement demonstrates his ability to drive innovation and efficiency, skills that ASI is eager to harness.

Quinn's career also includes a stint at Content Data Solutions, where he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure, he was responsible for all finance, business planning, and strategic planning decisions.

In his new role at ASI, Quinn will oversee the finance operations, provide strategy and direction for creating a consistent, timely, and accurate fiscal reporting structure, and work with ASI's senior leaders to analyse the financial performance of their units and streamline operations.

Vince Bucolo, the Chief Operating Officer for ASI, expressed his delight at welcoming Quinn to the company. "Mark's extensive experience and proven track record make him an ideal fit for this role," Bucolo said. "We are confident that his contributions will improve business processes at ASI quickly."

Quinn, who resides in Springfield, Pennsylvania, with his wife Jennifer and their children Ashley and Mark, Jr., expressed his confidence in his ability to contribute to ASI's success. "I am excited to join ASI and look forward to working with the team to drive growth and efficiency," he said.
