Community Gathering Happening at Historic Old Military Buildings
The Landshut Youth Festival, scheduled for Friday, July 25th, is an exciting event open to young people up to 27 years old from Landshut and surrounding areas. This event is not just a one-time celebration, but also a platform for generating ideas for future youth-oriented initiatives.
Organised by the Youth Council, in collaboration with Community Youth Work, the festival is a collaborative effort involving multiple municipal departments. The Jugendtreff Checkpoint and Jugendzentrum Poschinger Villa are also key contributors to the planning and execution of the event.
The festival will take place on the grounds of the Jugendkulturzentrum Alte Kaserne, and promises a fun-filled day from 3 pm to 10 pm. The programme includes a variety of activities such as T-shirt design, Henna tattoo creation, Graffiti workshop, and a table soccer tournament.
For music enthusiasts, DJ SIXX P from Dingolfing and a young musician from Landshut will provide the soundtrack for the day. And for those who get hungry or thirsty, food and drinks will be available at youth-friendly prices, with each item costing only one euro.
The Landshut Youth Festival is more than just an event; it's a special offer for young people and a collective effort to collect ideas for future offers. It's a unique opportunity for young people to come together, have fun, and contribute to shaping the future of youth initiatives in Landshut.
