The city of Gießen is set to host an exciting new event for children called "The Gießen City Rally for Kids - Gießmo's Maze: Gießmo's Search for Gießela". Organised by Gießen Marketing, the rally is now available at the Tourist Information and is timed to coincide with the summer holidays.

The rally takes young participants through the heart of Gießen, allowing them to discover the city center from a new perspective. The mascots of Gießen Marketing, dinosaur twins Gießmo and Gießela, are central to the event. Gießmo is searching for his lost sister Gießela in the city, and children will help him by following clues hidden around the city.

The child-friendly route encourages fun and movement in the city. The rally flyer, which includes all the stations and puzzles, is available for free at the Tourist Information. Successfully guiding Gießmo through the city and finding the solution word at the Tourist Information results in a small surprise for the participants.

At the Tourist Information, visitors can not only find free information about events, sights, and leisure activities, but also purchase various Gießen products and tickets for city tours and other events. Gießen Marketing offers high-quality and regional products, including bags, mugs, water bottles, and "Good from Gießen" such as honey or spirits.

Frank Hölscheidt from Gießen Marketing GmbH stated, "The Gießen City Rally for Kids is designed to allow children to explore Gießen in a playful way, while discovering the city's charm and history."

The rally is suitable for primary school-aged children and can be done individually without registration. The city marketing initiative "Gießmos Maze: Gießmos Suche nach Gießela" in Gießen starts from September 2025.

The Tourist Information is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. So, gather your young explorers and head down to the Tourist Information to embark on this exciting adventure!
