Commencement of construction slated for 15th of September
In [Location], the local water authority, the AZV, has initiated a significant project aimed at improving the city's infrastructure. The focus of the project is the renewal of a combined sewer pipe, which will see the aging stoneware pipe replaced with a modern one made of PP plastic.
The new sewer pipe, measuring 450 meters in length and boasting a diameter of DN 400, will be installed along a new route. The AZV has decided to move the pipe from the center of the road to the outer edge, extending from the Koppenbach Bridge to the start of Lissenweg.
This renovation project will also include the renewal of street inlets as part of the construction process. A total of 15 manholes will be installed along the new pipe's route to ensure efficient maintenance and upkeep.
Residents can expect their house connections to the new sewer system to be made during the construction phase. The AZV assures that they will keep the community informed throughout the process to minimise any inconvenience.
This project is a testament to the AZV's commitment to maintaining and improving the city's infrastructure, ensuring a cleaner and more efficient sewer system for all residents. For more information, residents are encouraged to contact their local council or stay tuned for updates from the AZV.
